National Service Scheme has been working for the past 29 years to enrich the service mind among the students. We are making the students to involve in social related activities by conducting various programmes like Campus Cleaning, Blood Donation Camps and other Special Camps. It also acts as a platform to develop leadership skills and organising skills.

National Service Scheme at Kongu Engineering College was formed in the academic year 1985-1986. We organized quite a few programs for the benefit of the students. The strength of the cell was about 300 Volunteers in the current academic year 2015-2016. We have done with some social related activities like campus cleaning in and around our campus, Blood Donation camps and rally regarding plastic eradication and waste management.
